Full-Body assessment and consultation

Any treatment must begin with a correct diagnosis. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the approach to diagnosis and body assessment differs from conventional methods by taking a holistic approach to assessing the body, treating it as one synergistic organism.

What is a full-body assessment?

Why we need a full body assessment and consultation?

1
Knowing you and your health condition is the key to
finding the potential imbalance.

The condition of your body depends on many factors. They are influenced by daily experiences, stress, food, environment, location, and so on. The signs and symptoms your body continually gives you are the best information to reveal your state of health. The signs and symptoms your body continually gives you are the most valuable information to find out how to treat you.

2
Use ancient diagnosis methods to
seek the root cause

Traditional Chinese Medicine uses the theory of Yin and Yang and Five elements to make the correct diagnosis. Your body and mind need perfect balance, the body is one system, working better than the best mechanism. The disease attacks the organism when there are obstructions to the flow of Chi and Blood, or when there is an imbalance of Yin and Yang. In traditional Chinese medicine, there are four main methods to examine human pathological conditions in practice, which are called inspection (tongue, hair, posture, etc.), auscultation (listening,), interrogation (inquiring or questioning, health history ), and palpation (pulse examination). Each method has a unique function in the process of collecting different clinical information and find the root cause of a problem.

Dr.Laurel is very caring and knowledgeable. I went to her because I was having trouble pregnant and I have endomitosis. she explained well my situation and prescribed me Chinese herbs. I was pregnant after 3 months of treatment. When we found out I was pregnant Laurel was really worried about my emotion and make sure I was not too excited. I was really happy and couldn’t be more thankful. Laurel is great and I will continue seeing her. Thank-you Laurel, and your wonderful team!

“The sages of antiquity did not treat those who were already sick, but those who were not sick, when a disease has already broken out and is only then treated, would that not be just as late as to wait for thirst before digging a well, or to wait to go into battle before casting weapons?”
